The Wheat Cleanse
Doctor’s, dieticians, your mom, they all agree, eating whole grains is an important component to a healthy diet and healthy life (plus it makes you regular).
But apparently wheat just ain’t what it used to be. The genetically modified wheat we use now is quite a bit different than the wheat our ancestors used. For one, ours is full of sugar.
You’ve hard of the Atkins diet? Get rid of carbs? Well there’s some level of truth to it, although abolishing wheat all together isn’t the answer.
Just like any cleanse you have to a) do it in moderation, b) don’t buy into stupid hype, c) probably do’nt get pills, d) control your diet. If you’re eating mounds of bread/carbs then yes, you could adjust your habits so you’re not eating so much bad food.
But no, eliminating natural grains from your diet is not the magical key to your weight loss success.
